My first recommendation is pocket size moleskine notebooks. They are great when you are on the go a lot.
I use my computer to keep organized most of the time but when I am away from it then I have my moleskine. I love it because it fits right in my pocket and I can pull it out if I have an idea for a sermon, if I need to remember something, draw something funny, write down a lyric or two, etc.

Many of you might be asking what in the world is Sun Drop? Sun Drop is a citrus soda that is big throughout some of the southeast, particularly the Carolinas. However, even more elusive is Cherry Lemon Sun Drop, which I personally have only found in some areas of the piedmont of North Carolina. Cherry Lemon Sun Drop is one of the best citrus sodas I have ever tasted and is definitely the best cherry-flavored citrus soda I’ve ever had (sorry “Code Red” drinkers…). If you want to find it, make a trip to the Charlotte, NC area and check out any grocery store or most gas stations. Also, if you know where to go, you can even find it in many local-based restaurants. It’s worth the trip!

Zebra F-301 ball point pens are the best pens I have ever used. I’ve tried many different pens across my school years. However, nothing lives up to the F-301. I carry one with me almost all the time. In my experience, these pens have never clogged or leaked. The ink lasts for a long time, and when it does run out, you can just replace the ink with a refill instead of buying new pens. The metal housing of the pen is lightweight yet durable. I’ve only seen one break (Abram’s, not my own). They write well, just enough ink without smearing across the paper or having to shake the crap out of it to get some ink to come out. The ink flow is clean and smooth. I personally like the black ink (not a fan of blue ink pens). You would be surprised how a good pen can make your life easier. Just by having this pen, you’ll sleep better, have lower stress levels, lower your cholesterol, lose ten pounds, and get that raise you’ve been hoping for! Okay, well maybe not. But it is a simple, elegant writing instrument.
